I have been on the hunt for a reliable basic t-shirt for a while now, and I am so happy I decided to pick up the GAP Women’s Short Sleeve Organic Vintage Crew Neck Tee. It is honestly everything you want in a standard wardrobe staple. One of the biggest wins for me is that the size is completely on point. It is such a relief to order your usual size and have it fit exactly the way you expected, without being too tight in the shoulders or way too baggy around the waist. It has that clean, classic silhouette that works perfectly whether you are layering it under a cardigan or just wearing it solo with some high-waisted jeans.

It seems like buying shirts these days is weirder than it used to be. First, so many that seem like they should be just cotton turn out to be a synthetic blend, and then they are either cropped or way too long.
This is a great upgraded standard white tee. The shape is classic but the fabric is extra soft. The seams are all strong and well-sewn. I really appreciate the length, it’s not absurdly long like so many shirts these days. The fabric is organic cotton, which is hopefully better both for the workers that have to handle it in the field and factories, and our environment. It’s a little see-through, strategic bra choices will have to be in play.
Got this a few weeks ago. It's soft. Has that broken-in feel right away. Not thin or see-through either. Good weight for layering. Works on its own too. Fit is pretty standard. Not boxy, not tight. Washed it a bunch already. Holds its shape fine. No shrinking or stretching so far. Honestly it's just a solid crew neck. Organic cotton feels nice on the skin. Goes with pretty much anything. If you need a reliable everyday tee, this one works.
